I am trying to mount Quickbooks to work with Wineskin and am running into problems with Wineskin not recognizing the "setup.exe" file and QB looking for 1GB of memory.
Has anyone experience with using such programs as Quickbooks in Wineskin?
I am using other Windows based programs in Wineskin so am baffled why I can't get QB to mount.

Application Folder no files?
I just deleted all the wineskin files, pretty mich yninstalled it, and now my
user/applications folder shows no .app files at all. I know th eApplications folder in my library exists but accessing it from my Home folder does not work.
If there is fix to this I would like to know.

iexplore (Gecko) crashes with wine >= 1.9.20
Hi !
First, let me tell you that you've done a amazing work with WineSkin. Thanks !
However, I've done a lot of tests and I've noticed that, when you create a blank wrapper with wine >= 1.9.20 (install Gecko when you're asked for), iexplore.exe crash directly when you try to load a webpage.
I'm talking about the iexplore.exe program packaged with wine (not the real Internet Explorer).
Do you know why ?

Always Getting "Wineskin is Currently Busy"
Hello!
I am attempting to install Fallout: New Vegas (and Steam on Wine) on my Mac using this webpage: http://portingteam.c...vegas-on-steam/
Although, every time I run Wineskin, I get the "Wineskin is currently busy, Please Wait..." prompt.
Information I can supply:
*I am running macOS Sierra, which means I am using Control + Show Package Contents on Steam on Wine (Fallout) and Control + Open on Wine on Wineskin.app.
*The only time I can ACTUALLY get this prompt to go away is if I do not hold in Control, but that prompts me to get the error "Could not find new executable."
I have supplied an image and, if needed, could supply a video of my EXACT methods for going about this.
If anyone has any more specific questions, I am capable of answering them.
If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated!

I just installed steam in a wrapper to play Star Trek Online, but I can't find a way of adding it to my library because the store won't load (it's just a black page), and since it's a free game I can't add it via a browser.

Cannot open files in the "Microsoft Windows Application" format
'The document “AnarchyOnline.exe” could not be opened. Wineskin Winery cannot open files in the “Microsoft Windows application” format.'
Any guidance on how to proceed? I've installed the latest as well as a couple of the older wine packages. Also tried forcibly associating .exe (I believe) in the advanced settings.

Maps loading ok but then rendering black when scrolling or movement.
I'm a bit of an amateur with Wineskin. Ive ported Command and Conquer 3 and Battle for Middle Earth.
Currently, BFME has patch 1.06 installed (the latest) along with a no-dvd fix.
Some of the maps ( I think the ones I've loaded previously ) open without a hitch. 90% of them once opened, render black after I scroll or if the units move at all.
I heard something about a command line for rendering but haven't used command line at all.
Let me know what info you need from me to help out.

Rollcage extreme crash when exiting race
Hi all,
I'm trying to get [http://www.codemonkey.me.uk/rollcage_extreme.php|===Rollcage Extreme===] to work well under wineskin. I'm hitting one of 2 annoying issues depending of whether I use windowed or fullscreen mode. In "Set screen options":
*In rootless+normal windows, the rendered output flickers at 30Hz (I think) between what is actually supposed to be on display, and what looks like the first rendered frame after the window was activated - meaning, the "static" frame is initially black, but will change to whatever's on the screen after switch to another application and back with cmd+tab (this seems to require ''Auto detect GPU info for Direct 3D'' and ''Use Mac driver instead of X11'' being both enabled to work)
*Fullscreen (set to emulate 1024x786) appears the work the same as rootless+normal windows
*With rootless + Virtual Desktop (''Use Mac driver instead of X11'' must now be disabled for this to work correctly), the flickering goes away, and everything seems to run fine until the game wants to return from race to menu, at which point it gets an error from X and exits.

I've also tested the game in a winebottler-generated bundle (seems to be using wine-1.8) - that still seems to flicker in fullscreen upon launch, cmd+tab works and after switching back, the flicker is gone. After leaving the race, the game goes crazy for a while, and usually reappears as a borderless window. :-/

Hey everyone. Im a super "diy" guy and have spent around 10 hours trying to get magic the gathering working. Ive read everything there is to read (I think) and I cannot do it.. Its extremely depressing. I just need someone who's really good at wineskin to help me get this.
I get a white screen to flash, you see some sort of loading page with MTGO for a millisecond then nothing..

Installing a DLC of a game
So I have the base game running perfectly (Darkest Dungeon). I have the DLC also but I have no clue how I would make wineskin download the DLC and run the game at the same time. Ive tried running the DLC by itself and it says it doesnt detect the base game, ive tried downloading it into the same wrapper as the game, but it still says it doesnt detect the base game. Ive also tried just dragging and dropping it into the same folder as the game but the game doesnt have the DLC installed. I tried looking up some help online but nothing useful comes up. Im pretty nooby at technical things so if you could go into more detail than you would usually go into that would be awesome! (:lol:) I feel like its useless but I wanna add that I used wineskin to run the game setup which downloaded the actual game, and the dlc is a setup too, so its not actually "downloaded" but it is. (if that makes any sense at all)

A scrollbar is not working
I downloaded a pre-built wrapper from Azuon.com before Sierra came along.
It continued to work even after updating to Sierra (10.12.5). It also updated the Azuon executable several times. But after a rebuild of the entire system, I tried to run it again. It launches, and does flight searches, but at least one horizontal scroll bar no longer works.
Might switching to Quartz fix this? Or does Wineskin depend on installing one or more libraries in a system area?

Wrapper not functional after moving to external drive
Hi,
Context: macOS Sierra, Wineskin 2.6.2, WS9WineCX15.3.1
I am trying to make a new wrapper that will exist on an external drive. The wrapper becomes unusable after I copy it to an external drive. The external drive is formatted ExFAT (not sure if that has anything to do with it).
For example, attempting to install a winetrick such as dotnet40 results in a file copy error.
Steps:
1. Make a new wrapper
2. Copy the new wrapper from ~/Applications/Wineskin to /Volumes/AnExFATDrive
3. Start the wrapper and go to winetricks
4. Attempt to install dotnet40
You get an error:
Extrating...
An error was encountered.
Sharing violation.
If you look up this error message, it is a problem trying to write to the disk.
Any ideas?

Mac High Sierra -- Wineskin Errors
I am an early adopter of Mac High Sierra, so there very well may not be an update/workaround for this. However, in the interest of getting the discussion going, wineskin has some problems running in High Sierra. Specifically, when launching wineskin in High Sierra two errors result:
1. CreateDevice Failed!
2. Could not initialize graphics system!
