So I installed Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines with a WS9Wine1.7.29 engine and it works fine apart from when I left click it makes the cursor appear in the centre of the screen and it remains there until I access the menus (allowing free movement of the mouse again) but will return every time I left click. Vampire is mainly an FPS game so I'm think this is a common issue to FPSs? Is there a custom engine I can build?

App Won't Start!
Help! I just downloaded a version of NBA 2k13 that runs on Wineskin.
I tried opening it and the icon would bob up and down and indicate that it's starting, but no window opens up and then the app closes itself. I did some research and found that my software is outdated. I upgrade to Wineskin 2.6.0 and the Engine to the newest version (1.7.29).
Now, when I do the test run, I no longer get the "Your wineskin doesn't support your current OS causing major problems" error anymore, which is good! But this is the error message I get instead:

most of the games not working

I have a new iMac, 3.5 Ghz i7 quad core with 32 GB of 1600 Mhz Rams and SSD hard drive and Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M 4 GB, with OSX 10.9.5
a few games are running like hitman, but the majority is not running. when i double click on the game, the wineskin logo appears on the dock, then after a few seconds it goes away and the game does not start... what should i do?

Drive Labels
Hello everyone :)
I am running BioEdit v.2.7.5 from WineSkin (WineSkin Winery: 1.7, engine: 1.7.29, wrapper: 2.6.0).
Everything seems OK... I went into
"WineSkin Advanced -> tools -> winecfg -> drives"
to add shares as drive letters. It works OK, I can access the content of the shares from BioEdit.
Then for the sake of clarity, I wanted to add labels to the different drive letters via the same config tab using the "show advanced" button.
I could add a label to C: but as soon as I try to add a label to any other drive letters it doesn't work (no label displayed). When I go back into winecfg I can notice that my setting of the label name is gone (back to blank) for all drive letters, except for C: obviously.
Does anyone know how I could fix that?

Game frame don't refresh.
I use Wineskin Winery install one of Windows game on OSX10.10.
This game required Direct X9 and Windows media player 9. When the installation finish, the game run sound properly but the game screen do not refresh. I have to use finder windows sweep on the program to refresh its frame.
So I install it again using winestrick to run direct x9 and wmp9 (which I find and copy libxml to the Framework folder). After all this, the game still have same problem.

It is great.
My question is, is there a way to save the files that I created from the windows program to be saved on the macbook hard drive so I can import those files?

Embedded Web Link Popup Error
I made a similar post a couple days back but it never got posted.
Please, some little help: I have a wrapped application that has embedded web links in it. When one of these links are clicked on, wine puts up a error message saying ''Error executing program link''. The only way I have discovered to prevent this popup is to install IE, however this is not a good solution.

Creating a program with multiple installers and a patch file...
Hello, my name is Caeldon Hayes. I would like step by step help for this project of mine, and if it proves to be successful, I would like to make this project available for download elsewhere, but that is getting to be off topic....
I need to know if it is possible to install a base game file in .exe format, then install another game file in .exe format that contains DLC, and then apply a patch in .exe format *I assume* on a MacBook Pro, and somehow bundle it together so that when I open it, the game will contain the DLC and the patch.
If this is possible, I would appreciate it very much if someone could walk me through this step by step.

Wineskin help
I bought commandos 2+3 from GOGgames to be able to play on my mac and tried to install as per PaultheTall's instructions on how to install a game into a wineskin(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZEcuYQjmto). I was unable to use crossover, as I'm running an older version of os (10.6.8) However I followed the video instructions and still can't get the game to launch.
I ''do'' get a setup error at the end of installation which may or may not be related.. It reads:
"Unable to execute file:
sdbinst.exe
ShellExecuteEx failed; code 203.
Environment variable not found."
but then says that Commands 2 and 3 installed successfully.
The next issue is which .exe to use, as 2&3 each have their own exe, yet there's only one wineskin/wrapper.
the 3 options it gives me are: "Comm2.exe", "Commandos3.exe", "Unnins000.exe"
I've tried both the former, as the later obviously is uninstal; and in neither case will the game launch after. Upon double clicking nothing happens.
If anyone can shed some light on this I'd greatly appreciate it. Not only do I not want to feel out the $9.99 but I'd really like to re-enjoy this classic!

Install from path
Is there any way to point to the .exe install file as a path instead of picking it from a Finder window? I am trying to install Spore from the retail disk but it has some sort of annoying script that hides all the windows files once it recognizes it is on a Mac. I can see the files in Terminal so I could tell Wineskin to install based on the path if I knew how to tell it that. Thanks.

Quake Live problem with WS9Wine1.7.31
So I'm having a bit of a problem with the newest Wineskin engine when making a wrapper to play Quake Live on OS X. This problem didn't come up with previous engines and has left me a bit perplexed.
Basically I prefer to run most games via Wineskin by checking "Use Mac Driver instead of X11", and in Quake Live this is useful for me because running it with this option unchecked means that some keys are mapped differently and I dunno how to do things like bring up the in-game console when playing it.
When I tried changing engine on my older wrapper from 1.7.29 to 1.7.31, the game wouldn't start and I got some weird crash message. So I tried making a new wrapper with 1.7.31, which did allow me to install the game but I can't run it when using the Mac Driver, which is really weird. It can run under X11 but like I said, they keyboard mappings are kinda different with this option. I dunno what might've changed to make this game not run the same way with the newer engine despite otherwise using the same options, windows version and dlls as with my older wrappers.
I hope someone can help me out here and maybe make something out of these logs.

If I can't do anything about the drivers I'd at least like to know if there's some solution to this keyboard issue. I hope I'm not asking too much here.
