Extra Gamma Correction Problem

Hello, I recently installed the windows version of Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne on my mac and have been enjoying playing it. Wine is pretty great. However, the game runs very dark on my computer and it is difficult to see. I noticed the extra gamma correction option in wineskin and put it all the way to the right to 'Very Bright'. Unfortunately, when I start the game it will flash lighter for about 30 seconds the return to the dark shade. The gamma corrector is not working properly for me. I use Wineskin 2.6 for my wrapper and the engine is Wine 1.7.39. Is there any solution for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
