I am trying to run Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy in WineSkin. I am having the following problems:
(1) If, in screen options, I disable "Use Mac Driver Instead of X11" then when I try to start the game I get an error saying openGL could not be initialized and that I need to update my openGL drivers. This happens both using the Wineskin X11 and using my system install of xQuartz.
(2) If, in screen options, I enable "Use Mac Driver instead of X11" then the game starts as expected and I can navigate through the menus. However, when I start a mission in the game the screen area where the 3D display is supposed to be instead continues to show the 2D menu interface elements that were there immediately before. The parts of the screen with no 3D display update properly.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?
Here's a sample X11 log from number (1):
WineskinX11: main(): argc=12
Waiting for startup parameters via Mach IPC.
WineskinX11: do_start_x11_server(): argc=12
Attempting to use pixel depth of 24
