Revisiting this game with the latest wineskin I can get everything playable except any of the full motion videos, intro, cutscenes - It's all black screen with only a flash of the video playing upon mouse click or keypress before it skips the movie. I've tried engines 1.7.12, 1.7.15 (incl noflicker) and 1.5.11, 1.5.27, 1.5.31X and variety of fullscreen and windowed mode wrapper screen settings.
Apparently this is a known issue with workaround of launching the kotor.exe to a different X display ID. Solution is on the appdb winehq entry [http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=4124&iTestingId=67909|KOTOR on AppDB]
However I have no idea how to script that using wineskin. I can't seem to find the standard wine executable inside the generated wineskin package and I imagine there is a 'better' more wineskin appropriate way to start the app on a separate X server display than the default, if it's even possible... is it?
The funny thing is I swear I had this working fine 2 or 3 years ago with wineskin on OS X Leopard 10.5, there's still the glitch with 3D grass but I don't recall a problem with the full motion video.
If anyone has a clue how to get Full Motion video working, which engine's I should try for better results, I am all ears!
